Many properties are holiday homes in the forest. Sandy ground drains well but needs a prepared base. Keep the cabin and the flue clear of pine branches and dry needles.

Delivery and assembly in Druskininkai

Delivery is by lorry with a tail-lift. Production takes 4 to 6 weeks, plus about a week. Forest tracks may limit access; tell us your address. Two adults assemble in about two days, or our crew does it from 1 390 €.

Pine forest and wellness

Druskininkai has long been a place people visit to rest. Sanatoriums, mineral springs and forest walks fill the calendar, and a barrel sauna fits the same spirit.

If your plot is in the forest, the biggest practical issue is fire safety. Keep branches trimmed above the cabin, clear dry needles from the roof and surroundings, and place the flue and stove carefully, as the manual describes.

Sandy forest soil drains well, but a slab base on compacted gravel is still needed to keep the cabin level. The ground may settle, so check the level after the first season.
